Korean Pathologists Association of North America
The Korean Pathologists Association of North America (KOPANA) was founded in 1992 for networking among pathologists of Korean heritage through professional interactions and also for fostering excellence and collaboration in education, research, and clinical practice of pathology by the members.
All pathologists are welcome to our association. The revised current KOPANA bylaws embrace the pathologists in Korea or elsewhere in the world as regular members. Also, pathologists of non-Korean heritage may join KOPANA, if they wish, upon approval of Board of Directors.
Since 2001, KOPANA has held its spring seminars on Friday and Saturday morning preceding the annual USCAP meeting. Our spring seminars have always been an excellent educational event for our members. These are mostly lectures given by experts on timely topics. Meeting information is posted at this website. Speakers for KOPANA seminars have been mainly the members of KOPANA and Korean Society of Pathologists (KSP).
Please join us at our annual dinner at the USCAP meeting.
